William Morris's Bedroom
the pelmet on Morris's early seventeenth century oak bed displays his poem 'For the bed at Kelmscott', composed in 1891 and embroidered by his daughter May Morris (1862-1938); the bed curtains were also embroidered by May and the bed cover by her sister Jane Morris and Mary De Morgan (nee Mary Evelyn Pickering) (1855-1919), 1895
